Hello! Currently teaching my third year of 9th grade ELA and H.S. Reading at Red Oak High School. I am a very busy mom of a college student. My son, Brook, attends Buena Vista University (my alma mater) in Storm Lake. He is a political science major, who plays baseball and is on Student Senate. I love going to his games and events!!!
In my spare time, I love to paint, write, read, bake and garden. I also enjoy sewing. I have two (spoiled) Shih Tzus named Harley and Hannah. I also have a smokey gray and white tuxedo cat named Farrah.
I am sure you will do great next year teaching art. Sometimes change is good as I will be finding out myself next year. We will miss you at the 7-12 building, so you will need to stop by to say hi.
